Course instructor Caio Simbula

This course is for photographers and printmakers already working with cyanotypes and/or alternative photographic processes who want a repeatable and calibrated negative workflow in their photographic printmaking techniques. In this course, we go over the use of SaltPrint software for the creation of test charts, utilizing premade LUTs and curves, creating our own custom curves for various alternative printmaking processes, to make calibrated image negatives ready for exposing to the final print medium. This method works for any photographic printmaking technique - it’s not limited to cyanotype prints.
